We were woken by explosion in Hemel Hempstead

Just after 6 a.m this morning, my wife and I woke up to the sound of our whole house shaking, in particular the windows rattling. I got up and wondered if a plane had flown to low, and went back to bed. Seems the explosion 50 miles away in Hemel Hempstead was big enough to rattle our house, and is the biggest explosion in peace time Europe since the second world war.

With 60 billion gallons of fuel going up in flames, amazingly no-one is reported as dead.
