What would Jesus buy?
18 Dec 2007
Given my research interest in Consumerism and Christianity, I just have to watch this film, What Would Jesus Buy?
From the producers of Supersize Me, it’s a docu-comedy, with some serious aims.
Anyone seen it yet? It’s been on release for a few days now.

I won’t know until I see it. If it’s really good I might try to get a foot note/reference in ;-)

Hmmm…
And for years I’ve joked that WWJD could stand for ‘What Would Jesus Drive?’ lol.
Maybe I should start wearing a WWJB bracelet for any visits to the shops…would be interested to know what the film talks about…however, not sure I would be able to get past the cheesy title.

I haven’t seen this film either. WWJB?, WWJD? These inspire me to think back a bit, Mt.17 end of, the piece of money, in the fishes mouth. Why in the fish? He knew where things should be, did He not? Money, our Lord purposed, intentionally, intentional placement, we obey, stand ready to act upon His command. Then fast forward just after telling his dear friend Peter would deny him thrice, things got even more complicated. He instructed them to sell a coat, buy a sword, what was the purpose? Was it to do with preparation and not definied intent, but revelation, timing?? Makes me think of this… get your things ready, stand here, pray, and watch the events unfold. Who is on the Lord’s side? Wonder what truth this film might reveal? Lord willing, we will find out. Mel
