I was just saying last week to our house group leader about doing some stuff on the environment having thrown the question randomly out to the group about ‘Stewarding for the environment’ and it being met with blank faces. I was about to mail you about getting some resources so great timing, thanks :)

In the middle of the book now. You’re right Jason, it’s a great book for people who just need a foundation to get started.

Excellent Jason. If you don’t mind me asking, how are you as a church community planning on becoming environmental stewards? Is it something you are going to be encouraging individual families/members to do? Are you planning on changing items within the church so that it is more environmentally friendly? Will you be encouraging those in your local community to be more environmentally conscious? A bit of all of those? I’ve got loads of scientific links I can send your way if you’re interested at all? (I’m studying Environmental Science).

Thanks for the link to Boise, Steve, I’m going to link this to my blog :)

Hi Lyn the church has undertaken an environmental impact review, and we are going to make this part of a resource ministry, i.e state that a normal practice of the chrisitian life is caring for environment, and offer training and resources. Watch this blog and our site for that as it unfolds.
