Deep Church – MP3
3 Feb 2007

In his great post Phil referenced how we met when he came to my seminar at the off-the-map conference last November. There is an MP3 from my session that you can now download from my server space here, or podcast from my site here, or get it via podcast (with other talks from the conference) from Wired Parish.
In the talk I outline in under 20 minutes my view/suggestion from europe of emerging church and the need for ‘Deep Church’ as a response/alternative to the post-church vision of George Barna, and post-church movement in europe, and take questions for Q&A.

this is a good one Jason. I think you are raising what many might shy away from saying. I think Malaysia will welcome you :-)

great talk jason – really good to hear.
On the question of people critiquing culture – I’ve been really impressed and challenge by Shane Claibourne and the Simple Way in Phillidelphia – through reading the book [with the unfortunate title] ‘The Irresistable Revolution’ – It’s pressed on me again the cost of discipleship and the counter reality of te kingdom.
