Experiential Story Telling

Thanks Jonny Baker , this Emergent YS book looks great.
Description… Experiential Storytelling
People are no longer connecting with the redemptive story of the Bible. We live in a culture that is craving narratives, metaphors, images—anything that can provide some meaning to their turbulent lives. The Church has the greatest story ever told. That story, Scripture tells us, is the power of God to transform lives. Yet few are listening. What is wrong with this picture?
Unlearn the language of the church in storytelling and begin to speak a new language. Give listeners a greater scriptural understanding and ownership of the gospel story by zeroing in on the “hows” and “whys” of the narrative and using hands-on experiences as innovative extensions of traditional teaching and preaching.
