Blog Heroes

So todays blog hero is : James Mills

There are so many “emerging church blogs” just do a few searches on google, then start following the links. Many are people talking about their dogs, dinner, and kids at school, and post-modern reasons about why people love their wife more than ever. Many are updated once in a blue moon. Many are rants about why the church sucks. Most are by people who have left church and the idea of being in or part of one.

Very few are positive, believing in the church, the idea of church, and engage with resources and content, and are updated regularly. If there are many more I have yet to find the, so let me know any you have come across and we’ll post them.

So I want to highlight some blog heroes, people who constantly interact with others, love church, think deeply, and are incarnated themselves by being in church communities, and are amazing human beings.

I met James at the Emergent thing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, last year. I wasn’t that familiar with his blog then, but I met some people at my hotel who were rabid fans of his. Later I had the pleasure of introducing these fans (and e-mail friends) to him. Pretty fun. He was also the one who recommended your blog, Jason! So kudos to both of you.
